Position: Looking for a strong Developer with QA experience
Location: Carlsbad, CA
Duration: Long term contract
Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for test planning and functional, integration and system testing of a multi-platform SaaS
application. Qualified candidate is required to have knowledge of software QA and limited software programming.
Responsibilities:
●Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test scenarios for software products
●Perform functional, system application, regression and performance tests
●Participates and supports user acceptance testing
●Documents defects and works closely with development team to resolve issues
●Manages and maintains case load and defect tracking
●Creates and maintains automated test scripts
●Participates in daily standup meetings, sprint planning and backlog grooming
Required Skills & Experience:
●Minimum 7 years experience in software quality assurance or technical product management for
Web-based software
●Unit testing
●Object Oriented design and understanding of OO concepts
●Excellent analytical skills including strong statistical and mathematical background
●Experience working closely with development teams
●Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively
with both highly technical and non-technical personnel
●Must be detailed oriented
●Ability to work effectively in a dynamic startup environment
●Ability to work after hours and independently to complete tasks on time under challenging schedules.
●Experience with SQL queries and backend testing
Preferred experience with following tools/technologies
●C# Development / Unit Testing
●MS SQL
●Java and/or MongoDB
●Performance and Regression testing tools
●Experience with automation tools Selenium, Test Studio
●Web Services testing
●API Testing experience
Education & Background:
●B.S. in Engineering or Computer Science
●7+ years' experience in software QA or software development
●Practical working knowledge of software testing methodology
