Position Title: Sr. software engineer
Location: Garden City, NY
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Must be: USC and GC only.
We are in urgent need for Software engineers with proficiency in using PL/SQL, Oracle Reports and Oracle Forms to design, develop and maintain client custom software application.
Job Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, implements, documents, and tests software changes to existing Aon custom business applications.
Creates complex prototypes, ensures deliverables are high quality, and meets user expectations.
Supports system and integration testing activities.
Initiates design reviews for new applications and adheres to software development standards.
Job Requirements:
This position will work closely with client to design, develop and maintain custom software applications using PL/SQL, Oracle Reports and Oracle Forms.
The successful candidates must have experience in Oracle Forms and Reports - core required skill set - PL/SQL with oracle forms/reports 9i or greater.
Experienced in developing new Oracle functions/procedures/packages.
Experienced in analyzing/modifying existing ORACLE PL/SQL code to resolve issues and enhance processes. (Ability to tune ORACLE/SQL queries for optimal performance.)
Excellent knowledge of relational database design concepts, coding, and debugging PL/SQL (functions, triggers, procedures)
