Title: System Analyst

Job Description:

ADP is looking for a System Analyst that is skilled at defining and analyzing system problems; designing and testing standards and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Defines application problem by conferring with clients; evaluating procedures and processes.
• Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.
• Controls solution by establishing specifications; coordinating production with programmers.
• Validates results by testing programs.
• Ensures operation by training client personnel; providing support.
• Provides reference by writing documentation.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Emphasis on these key components:

• Be able to speak to your experience (what you did, why you did it, how you did it, and why you chose to do it that way)
• Be able to speak about systems/improvements you have been able to create/might need to create beyond just a process/flow/use-case diagram
• System Level Experience- : end-to-end, problem-to-solution, system optimization/coordination/definition/exposure to web/cloud architectures and web APIs.
• Communicating with from multiple perspectives-documenting those processes.
• Speak about the documentation they have done, systems requirements they have written, UML Documents, System Requirements, User case requirements, conceptual level of UML components
• *Looking at the project at a high level in terms how to get something delivered, evaluate the process on both the business and technical side.
