Note:

Primary Required Skills:

·         .Net Framework 3.5 or higher

·         C#, ASP.NET

·         SQL Server, Oracle

·         At least 9-10 years of IT experience

·         At least 6-8 years of financial client experience

·         At least 3-4 years of Unix OS and Unix Scripting experience (very important)

·         Crystal Reports experience

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participates in the implementation of new information systems, or enhancements to existing systems, involving the analysis of user department requirements and the formation of recommended solutions
• Assist departments with the definition of new system requirements and the search, selection and implementation of computer solutions that are available on the market. Assists in the preparation of project plans to include estimating, scheduling and manpower loading
• Works with outside vendors and department personnel in the installation of new systems and changes or upgrades to existing systems. Uses various utility software and detail program coding as an addition to a basic system functions to complete the installation of systems in a manner that meets department requirements

• Develops and executes system testing plans to include the preparation of test data necessary to assure expected results as defined by the specifications. Prepares appropriate documentation during each phase of a project
• Responds to reported system problems, troubleshoots and resolves issues effectively, giving the needed priority and communicating professionally with those affected

Requirements/ Qualifications:

• Must have a thorough understanding of current Information Systems technology and a good working knowledge of recent developments in software systems, programming languages, utility software, report writers and query languages, and relational databases
• Must be knowledgeable on, UNIX Scripting languages. Crystal Reports, Toad, IBM Rational, and Serena PVCS
• Must be able to gather and document business and information systems requirements for departments and provide the formal analysis and design for recommended solutions. Must be able to demonstrate, through testing or explanation, Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and meet project timelines with specified deliverables
• Demonstrated experience Database Management Systems, which include:  Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access or other data query tool

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent combined education and experience
• 8+ years software systems design and analysis work with extensive experience on large scale systems.
• Excellent writing, modeling and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills necessary to evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high level information into details, abstract low level information to general understanding and form an appropriate solution
