Role: Solution Architect – SAP BW/BI

Location: Allendale, NJ

Duration: 12+ Months

Rate: $70/hr c2c

Interview Mode: Telephonic and Skype (in person if local)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Solution Architect – SAP BW/BI

Over 15 to 18 years of IT experience including 10+ years of SAP BW/BI

Involved as a key member of project teams through all phases of realization, go-live, rollout and post implementation support of SAP BW in SD, MM and FI/CO modules

Minimum 3 BW implementations experience

Experience in working with BW/4HANA implementation

Strong experience in architecting complex BW solutions

Expert level knowledge of SAP ASAP methodology in Software Development Life Cycle.

Experience in working with standard and custom InfoCubes, InfoObjects, InfoSources, ODS, Multiproviders, Extraction Process (LO Cockpit, CO-PA, FI/SL, LIS), transportation of business objects using CTS tool and performance tuning.

Worked with Business Explorer and Web Application Designer for integrating reports to web.

Sound knowledge of various data design models- Entity Relationship(ER), Multi-Dimensional/ Star Schema and Extended Star Schema models.

Experience in automating loads using process chains and use of BW Monitor to supervise data loading.

Excellent communication skills, systematic approach and ability to work effectively in fast paced environments

ERP and Tools: SAP BW 7.5, SAP BW/4HANA SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA

Developed Transfer rules, Update rules and Start routines using ABAP to incorporate Business logic and perform data manipulation.

Enhanced master data sources 0Customer, 0Material and 0Vendor to meet custom reporting requirements.

Developed data loading strategies for master data, transactional data and delta uploads.

Created process chains for data loading, delta uploading and periodical PSA deletion.

Extracted and loaded data from SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA into Sales Order Info Cube using Data Sources.

Created Multiprovider on sales and delivery cubes to assist reporting on sales and delivery together.

Extensively worked on Query Designer and Web application designer to create Queries to forecast sales, budget and delivery analysis using Restricted Key Figures, Calculated Key Figures, Variables, filters and exceptions.

Extensive experience with SAP BW tools such as Info cubes, BEx Query designer, BEx Analyzer, Data Modeling.

Extensive knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL& T-SQL programming and trouble shooting

Extensively used ETL methodology for Data Extraction, transformations, loading using Data Integrator.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, training, analytical and technical skills.
