Job Title: SAP Solution Manager -

Experience in SAP Solution Manager functional consultant
Candidate must have worked on SAP Solution Manager 7.01 and 7.1 versions and have good idea of the new features in 7.2
Experience is configuring business process monitoring and analytics
Configuring : Monitoring of systems, technical scenarios and end user experience
Experience in application lifecycle management, IT Service management, IT portfolio and project management
Experience of System Preparation Basic configuration Managed system configuration
Candidate must have experience in installation, configuration, and upgrade experience in SAP SOLMAN
Experience on Root Cause analysis
Strong Prior experience working in Run SAP like a Factory approach of Solution Manager with knowledge of setting up Operations Control Center, Innovation Control Center

Able to do configuration all the deliverables through solution manager at each phase of project.

The SAP Team at Microsoft is responsible for a showcase implementation of SAP R/3 on Microsoft Windows, SQL Server, and Exchange.  This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with expertise in SAP and Microsoft technologies.  As an independent contributor, the successful candidate will deliver projects and support on the Sales and Distribution (SD) & Materials Management (MM) modules.

Responsibilities:

·         Deliver excellent SAP service and support to internal customers in Microsoft

·         Analyze and solve reported issues and bugs, work with SAP or escalate where appropriate, track and monitor status of issues to meet all service level agreements

·         Communicate causes, solutions and other additional information to impacted customer groups, SAP project teams and other non-SAP IT support groups

·         Implement bug fixes to resolve issues without compromising the stability of the system nor impacting a worldwide round-the-clock user group

·         Work closely with other functional groups such as BASIS team to resolve cross functional issues

·         Effectively communicate technical issues in a clear and non-technical manner to the business users

·         Facilitate SAP quarterly release process - by which new functionalities and system changes are applied systematically to the production system. Duties include thorough review and understanding of business requirements; review and approval of technical specification documents, SAP configuration and technical changes; review and participation in test planning and execution; and post production support of these changes

·         Balance the need to implement realistic, stable and practical changes to the SAP production environment while still meeting new and complex business requirements and objectives of other IT groups

·         Develop strong collaborative relationships with Business Unit implementation teams, ABAP development team and BASIS team to analyze, configure and deliver solutions to the business

·         Work on new projects to bring new business streams on-board Microsoft SAP system

·         Take initiative to identify and execute projects to enhance the system and increase its supportability and performance. Execute operational change requests to reduce repeated support issues and other manual support tasks.

Responsible for the technical implementation of the SAP Solution Manager project as measured against the project requirements, quality targets, and budgetary constraints, and timelines. Ensures technical Solution Manager deliverable's are consistent with the overall technical strategy of the enterprise. Should have strong ABAP development exp. In areas of SAP ECC like SD, MM, FICO, HCM, APO etc..

Responsibilities: 

Ability to work independently with Solution Manager functionality effectively
7 years technical implementation and upgrade projects experience in SAP Solman
Change Request Management (ChaRM) Implementation experience
Implement functionality required for the successful rollout of Solution Manager Processes as per standard SAP requirements
Participates with Business Analysts in application documentation.
Working with the Project Manager on definition of development requirements and priorities.
Working experience with following Solution Manager components

ChaRM & Service Desk implementation
o Configuring and using Solution Manager Root Cause Analysis
o Business Process Monitoring and Job Management
o Project and solution documentation process Knowledge
o Configure system monitoring such as Early Watch Alerting
