Job Descreption:
Interviews business partners to understand project objectives, use cases and requirements, defines project scope, and recommends solutions to project issues. Gains a solid functional understanding of the existing application(s) as well as the newly defined project requirements for small to medium sized projects. Evaluates design of existing systems to judge their functionality, effectiveness, reliability, performance, usage, maintainability and cost of ownership Manages multiple priorities Uses influential skills to collaborate with business partners Fosters teamwork and spirit of collaboration and commitment within the project team Contributes to team project planning and to on-time and on-budget project goals Create and maintain the SDS (System design specification) documentation throughout the development lifecycle(independently or as part of a team) Create and maintain the DIT (development integrated) Test Plan, working with developers on execution.

Skills Required:
4+ years of systems analysis experience is required 5+ years of work experience in the financial services industry highly desired. Experience following formal documentation processes Bachelors degree

Strong analytical and problem solving skills Solid knowledge of hardware and software systems Strong judgment, issues management and problem analysis techniques Possesses excellent written/verbal communication skills Demonstrates an understanding of the analysis/development/testing project life cycle Exposure to C++, Sybase, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, XML/XSL a plus
