Explanation for Position:
This candidate will be a member of the client WorldShip Development team. WorldShip
is a shipping application that allows customers to prepare, label, ship, track, and
manage their UPS shipping needs. The position entails designing, implementing, and
maintaining code and data. Responsibilities include review and analyzes of business
and functional requirements. Participation in project architecture and technical
design. Performing technical analysis, implementation, debugging and maintenance
of complex program modules. Writing design and technical specifications, code
implementation, defect correction, unit testing, and participation in design and code
reviews.

The successful candidate will be proficient in developing/implementing Windows
based applications with MS Visual Studio using C++, C#, XML, and COM. Database,
SQL, and MFC experience is a plus. Must have experience with OO design and
implementation. Position requires excellent English oral and written communication
skills. Position also requires good analytical abilities, planning, organizing, decision making,
problem solving, analysis, and judgment skills.
Management Skills: Bachelor degree Computer Science or related discipline with 5-8+ years of technical
experience in Windows based PC application programming and development.
