Required Skills:
· Must have at least 5 years experience in WebSphere administration.
Portal-6.0.x and 6.1.x, Websphere App Server 6.0.x and
7.0.x, Websphere Process Server 6.0.x and 7.0.x
WebSphere Application Server (version 7.x) and Websphere
Process Server 6.0.x and 7.0.x
Strong Experience with J2EE Architecture Implementation &
Administration - Preferably IBM Websphere Implementation
· Experience in J2EE Application Sizing & Performance Tuning
Methodologies Experience Deploying and Managing Websphere Clusters with DMGR
· UNIX proficiency (Linux and/or Solaris)
· Experience in Migrating Legacy Applications to J2EE Using
Oracle Database Backend
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Installation, Configuration, Administration and Performance
tuning of WebSphere Application Servers.
· Experience in deploying applications in Domain and clustered
environments.
· Apply patches and maintain the Websphere/ Apache servers.
· Troubleshooting routine product issues independently
(Incident Tracking and Resolution).
· Act as the primary business liaison to the business segment,
through facilitating communication between Development, QA, Product Management, Technical Operations and Segment business leaders on new product releases, technical outages, and routine maintenances (hosting moves).
