General Requirements:
This position is to complete productionalization of components/systems that will be deployed to ALL Kroger locations. We are looking for related experience that would complement the maturity/discipline to build systems for mass deployment. The Core Skills are Java Development, Linux and WebSphere Application Server. Additionally, custom development (in JAVA) by outside contractors, so there isn't one key area Kroger is looking for. Just solid IT Gurus and Disciplined Developers. Candidates that have had experience building systems that were being sold, distributed or embedded is crucial. These individuals typically will have the skills sets/discipline needed to work in this space. This team will have Kroger SME's working with them, but these resources will be responsible for the majority of work and need to work independently.
