Develop SQL Server Database Encryption and Administration specifications.
Develop and prepare documents for the general design of solutions that meet system and security requirements, including the selection of alternative approaches.
Develop specifications for SQL Servers, databases, storage and software configurations.
Develop structured diagrams for the specifications of SQL Servers, databases, storage area networks and security.
Develop, compile, maintain and document configurations of the following: certificates, encryption keys, databases, servers, security.
Develop system documentation for Encryption and data loss prevention.
Develop operational and installation procedures for SQL Server encryption, databases, certificates, backups and recovery and data loss prevention.
Develop guidelines and upgrade techniques of new operational procedures for the support of databases, software, security and client server systems.
Develop detailed systems operations designs.
Perform System Design, installation, operations, deployment and communications plans.
Work with MIS staff (e.g. managers, senior programmers, support staff, product manager) to plan database encryption implementation and testing.
Design reports, audit trails/logs, security mechanisms.
Provide assistance to MIS technical support staff when they are unable to resolve a problem, database, or IT issue by themselves.
Contact customers as needed to clarify the intent of a new feature or resolve a problem
Perform Testing/Evaluation.
Tests encryption design and data loss prevention techniques.
Develop, implement, and monitor information technology quality assurance standards.
Review of the deployment and operational process.
Required Skills
Minimum 8 Years Experience designing SQL Server and database infrastructure.
Minimum 4 Years Experience designing SQL Server database encryption and certificate authority.
Minimum 8 Years Experience designing Active Directory based security.
Minimum 8 Years Experience backing up, restoring, optimizing and trouble-shooting problems.
Minimum 4 Years Experience designing secure, highly available SQL Server environments.
Minimum 8 Years Experience with database objects.
Minimum 8 Years Experience trouble-shooting application problems.
