Strategic Business Analyst skilled at consulting with executive-level stakeholders to define business need or problem.  Conducts research, performs studies and surveys to obtain data; and analyzes problems to advise on or recommend solutions, utilizing knowledge of theory, principles, or technology of specific discipline or field of specialization.  Analyzes data to determine solution, such as installation of alternate methods and procedures, changes in processing methods and practices, modification of machines or equipment, or redesign of products or services.  Advises client or department heads on alternate methods of solving need or problem, or recommends specific solution.  Requires experience providing consulting services to governmental entities.  May be designated according to field of business and technical specialization.

Work with project manager to facilitate the definition of solution scope. Required 5 Years  
Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to collect the information necessary to create deliverables within the established deadlines. Required 5 Years  
Ensure active participation of the correct stakeholders. Required 5 Years  
Manage requirements and facilitate requirements change decisions Required 5 Years  
Accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging Required 5 Years  
Validate requirements with stakeholders/project team by communicating and presenting requirement artifacts/deliverables to stakeholders needs Required 5 Years  
Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a collaborative team environment. Required 5 Years  
Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with internal and external customers in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner. Required 5 Years  
Demonstrated understanding of mainframe and client/server architectures. Required 5 Years  
Demonstrated ability of high levels of interpersonal and communication skills Required 5 Years  
Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, self-direct, and work with little or no supervision and complete tasks within the defined project constraints Required 5 Years  
Experience with MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, Visio and Power Point Required 5 Years  
Ability to effectively juggle multiple projects Required 5 Years  
Work with Technical/Business staff to elicit/analyze/organize/simplify/document detailed buisiness requirements by using a variety of techniques Required 5 Years  
Understand business processes and technology, DHS standards, federal and state policy, and ensuring strategic and project goal alignment. Required 5 Years  
Experience with Health Care Experience, Medicaid, Food Assistance, and/or Family Investment Planning.  Highly desired 5 Years  
Government sector experience. Highly desired 5 Years  
Experience working in Agile and Waterfall project methodologies. Highly desired 5 Years  
Business Analyst Certification Highly desired 5 Years
