Looking for – Oracle DBA(Local to PA),
Role :Oracle DBA
Location : King of Prussia, PA (F2F interview required after telephonic)
Start Date : ASAP
Duration : 12 Months +
Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, implements, and maintains Oracle database applications to meet functional objectives of the business. Will have responsibility for analysis, database design, application development, and implementation.
Monitoring database availability across the enterprise to ensure high availability is maintained.
* Responding to all database alerts, warnings, and errors in a timely, consistent manner.
* Resolving common database system issues in a timely, consistent manner.
* Escalating complex issues to internal team members and third party groups as appropriate.
* Assessing query performance issues using common database tools.
* Verifying successful and complete execution of backup procedures.
* Maintaining a level of preparedness to execute recovery procedures as needed.
* Handling database-related work requests in a timely, thorough manner.
* Developing scripts to automate common work requests.
* Promoting development code and project related database changes to various environments.
* Validating and mitigating issues with production to non-production data refresh processes.
* Managing work for special projects and, when qualified, development work as assigned.
