Javascript Developer to develop, implement, and maintain a single, statewide system for use by the State for all licensing and permitting needs.
Responsibilities
• Providing Application support and being on call as required
• Developing and maintaining applications with JavaScript
• Configuring COTS application software (such as Accela) and gaining expertise in COTS specific scripts and expressions
• Maintaining SQL queries for Oracle database
• Developing applications and providing support in Windows Server 2000-2008 environments, production on-call support, troubleshooting, issue resolution, security management, testing (unit, system, integration, performance tests), and developing technical documentation
• Managing Crystal Reports with Oracle back-end
• Familiarizing with NYS E-Licensing system and gaining expertise to provide support
• Leading technical meetings and support calls
• Working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Required
• 60 Months of development experience with JavaScript
• 36 Months of Experience with configuring COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) Application Software
• 48 Months of Experience with application support in Windows environments (i.e. - production on-call support for applications, troubleshooting, issue resolution, SDLC, testing (unit, system, integration, performance tests), and developing technical documentation).
• 24 Months of experience in managing SQL queries with Oracle database back-end
• 24 Months of experience maintaining the integration of COTS application with a reporting solution (such as Crystal Reports) |
