Skills Required: Network Administrator

·        6+ years of Network systems administration experience.

·        Hands on experience on various Routing/Switching Protocols (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).

·        LAN Security – DHCP snooping, dynamic ARP inspection.

·        Advanced LAN switching concepts – CEF, QoS on catalysts switches, Dot1Q Tunneling.

·        Multicast – Conceptual Knowledge.

·        MPLS – Basic understanding of LDP, TDP, MPLS L2 VPNs.

·        In depth knowledge of DHCP, NTP, HSRP, GLBP, VRRP, ARP, NAT, ACL, GRE Tunneling.

·        Understanding of basic TCP/IP networking concepts.

o   VLANs

o   Subnet masking

·        Certifications CCNA, CCNP would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

·        Network Monitoring.

·        Testing network for weakness.

·        Keeping an eye on updates.

·        Responsible for network management including development and implementation of wiring/wireless configuration standards connectivity solutions.

·        Responsible for the installation and configuration of network hardware and software.

·        Responsible for all LAN & WAN hardware, software and data integrity.

·        Network file system, directory structure and LAN/WAN system integrity and security.

·        Environment setup (Installation and Configurations).

·        Capacity planning of physical environment.

·        Handling incidents, problems and changes as per the client's Guidelines.

·        Leading the effort for Root Cause Analysis of high impact / priority issues.

·        Coordination of with different teams for resolution of any hardware / product related issues.

·        Ability to cross skill on the technologies required for the project.

·        Ability to work with onshore/offshore teams, and communicate using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting).

·        Ability to support working outside of normal business hours to provide after hour or "on-call" support when necessary to solve high profile issues or complete critical path projects.

·        Effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams.
