Job Title : ASP.NET Programmer/Developer/Analyst

Location : NYC, NY

Duration : 6+ Months Contract

Job Description:

This assignment is to support the Environmental, Health and Safety department by maintaining and enhancing their applications. The applications vary in size, technology and criticality. The analyst will have various assignments that will be to gather requirements, design, develop and present solutions to users and at times upper management following our SDLC process. Final implementations are also this analyst s responsibility in coordination with the rest of the team. The analyst will work as part of a team of analysts supporting EH&S but the majority of the assignments will be worked on independently.

Also, the analyst will be required to develop detailed test plans for the work that he/she does and the systems he/she supports. This is a support position so each individual assignment will vary in length and multiple may be underway at one time. This analyst may also be asked to assist on a capital project if assistance is required.

This could be development, issue resolution, testing or whatever programmer analyst activities are required to help that project complete on time and within budget.

The technology for this project falls in line with what is identified above (.Net 4.5, Sql Server 2012).

·         Minimum of 7 years of work experience as programmer/analyst

·         Must have 5 years of Web and Report design and development experience

·         Required experience with ASP.NET, VB.NET, Visual Studio 2008 or greater

·         Must have experience in CSS, HTML5, JavaScript and JQuery

·         Must have experience in ASP.NET MVC, Linq and Entity Framework

·         Required experience with Crystal Reports, Telerik Reports or SSRS

·         Must have excellent MS SQL Server skills

·         Familiarity with environmental or safety related applications is also a plus

·         Familiarity with Kendo UI and JQuery UI

·         Familiarity with creating and managing SSIS packages IND123

·         Must be well organized, able to work with minimal supervision and be detail oriented

·         Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have an ability to effectively interact with customers, support staff, and various levels of management The following additional skills are preferable.

- Microsoft Project and Office experience is a plus
