Need Data Warehouse ETL Developer, Need local Consultants to DC/VA/MD Only
Position : Data Warehouse ETL Developer
Location : Washington DC
Duration : 12 month contract
Skills:
Data Warehouse ETL Developer to gather information from users, design a system, and implement ETL solutions. The successful candidate will have experience with conducting requirements gathering and analysis, creating entity relationship diagrams, Oracle database architecture, and use of web-design tools. This is in Washington, DC. Additional roles and responsibilities include:
Guides users in formulating requirements, advises on alternatives and on the implications of new or revised data transformation requirements
Designs Universes, Classes, Objects, and Hierarchies for Multidimensional Analysis of underlying datasets
Develops complete specifications for required ETL schemas
Analyzes subject-matter reports to be automated
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other appropriate computer-related fields is preferred
3+ years of experience working in an enterprise level data warehouse
5+ years of experience working in software and application development environment
Experience with Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) or Informatica
Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) is a plus
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be organized and detail-oriented
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner
