We have a URGENT 6 to 12 months contract job with our client for Sr. Java Developer in Sacramento, CA.

Role: Sr. Java Developer

Location: Sacramento, CA

Duration: 6 to 12 Months

Candidates must have Apache Camel, AppFUSE, JBOSS, Active MQ experience.

OPT-CPT & H1 transfer cases please do not waste time by submitting.

Technical Skills Required

· 8+ years' experience with Enterprise Java development.

· 8+ years' integrating software with other systems.

· 8+ years' experience developing unit tests using JUnit or another testing framework.

· 8+ years' creating, testing, and tuning SQL queries.

· 5+ years' experience with Spring and Hibernate/JPA

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Desired Skills:

· Experience working with software integration at another utility company or independent system operator.

· Build tools such as Gradle /Jenkins/Continuous integration

· BDD tools such as JBehave /Fitnesse

· Knowledge of VB.NET

Responsibilities:

· Analyze complex issues and implement solutions.

· Analyze procedures/systems and develop/implement operational improvements using information technology systems software, tools and processes.

· Development automated testing scripts.

· Assimilate into an agile work environment.

Primary Task

· Develop NITS spreadsheets per functional requirements using Java and Apache POI to be uploaded to OATI's site.

· Store data used for NITS process into SQL server.

· Create scheduled tasks for automated data upload to OATI using Apache Camel.

· Code automated unit tests using JUnit.

Secondary Task 2

· Development minor enhancements/code fixes to the settlements data repository system using VB.NET and SQL Server.
