Job Description:
The successful candidate will be experienced in implementing real time applications for front office in JAVA.
This individual will be part of a team designing and implementing a new service oriented architecture (SOA) for trading system.
Principal Responsibilities
• Implement server side component to support a new trading system based on a SOA architecture
• Work in collaboration with UI application developer and business tier developers
Qualifications/Skills Required
React OR Angular would put candidates right to the top of interview list
• Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with trading system is essential.
• Financial industry experience (Commodities , Equities ,Futures , Options) is nice to have.
• Experience in leveraging OSS instead of building from ground-up is mandatory.
• 7 years of experience in Java on Unix/Linux is required.
• Experience with messaging technologies, such as Tibco ,JMS , RabbitMQ is necessary.
• Knowledge of CEP such as ESPER , STREAMBASE , in-memory databases.
• The successful candidate will have a full understanding of building resilient systems with redundancy and failover capabilities, and demonstrated experience building such platforms.
• Understanding of SDLC and experience with such tools as Jira, GIT, Jenkins, Ant.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks is a plus.
• A successful candidate will be passionate about technology and will have the drive to stay abreast of the latest industry practices and technological innovations.
Note: We are working with Tier-1 vendor requirement.
