!! Urgent Need - Lead UI/UX Programmer - Need Local Candidates only !!

Position:     Lead UI/UX Programmer

Location:    Lansing, Michigan

Duration:   6+ Months

Need Local Candidates only - Face 2 Face Interview Must

Skills and Experience Required:

• This position will lead the effort in bringing both high fidelity and low fidelity mockups to production through standards compliant, semantic code.
• This position requires an expert level understanding of HTML and CSS and possesses the ability to build reusable and extendable components. 
• Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. 
• Work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
• Experience implementing website designs that adhere to usability best practices and Americans with Disabilities (ADA) guidelines is required. 
• Each site is designed to meet the specific business needs of a state agency, while adhering to enterprise-wide eMichigan standards for looks and feel, usability, and accessibility.

Skills Required:

• 3 years-  HTML5
• 3 years-  CSS3
• 2 years-  JavaScript
• 2 years-  jQuery
• 1 year-   SASS – Syntactically Awesome Stylesheets
• 1 year-   Accessibility / WAI - ARIA
