Description: The person hired for the position of Front End Developer within the Research  Development Team of the Motor Vehicle Systems and Services group will be primarily responsible for the design and development of the Web Front End for the next-generation Tolling product.

Must have 5+ years experience with Front End Frameworks.

Ideally with 2 years experience using Backbone

Must have 5+ years experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON and JQuery.

 Experience with Bootstrap preferredMust have experience building RESTful applications, not just building Web pagesUI/UX experience preferredJ2EE experience preferredFull Stack experience preferredPreferred

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Systems Engineering• Experience developing unit tests and implementing test automation• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills• Strong analytical and logic skills• Must excel at working with peers within a team environment• Track record of meeting project timelines and produce a high quality product.• Track record of taking individual initiative and accountability for assignments.• Track record of adapting to changing priorities.• Ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and technologies.• Detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.• Commitment to continuing professional developmentCandidates must have 3 years experience with JSP.
